The brief was to create an entertainment area on the existing roof of a residence in Tamboerskloof. In response we proposed the creation of a swimming pool pavilion and a roof garden.
The structure was planned to have a very elegant and simple character that would easily work with and reinforce the charm of the existing house. From the pavilion there is a focus on various panoramic views all around toward the city, and mountains. The plan reinforces the existing footprint of the house and emphasise the sunny courtyard below.
